HeartSaver® CPR / AED

Heartsaver® CPR / AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.Optional Modules include child CPR and infant CPR.

Why to Take a CPR Course?

After someone stops breathing, or their heart stops beating, he or she can survive for only 4 to 6 minutes before lack of oxygen results in brain damage or death. CPR can buy extra time for your loved one, until professional help can arrive, by artificially circulating oxygen to the brain.  Over 70% of all cardiac and breathing emergencies occur in the home when a family member is present and available to help a victim.

Who Needs a CPR Course?

  • Emergency response teams
  • Safety personnel
  • Supervisors
  • General public
